Abstract: We discuss the preliminary results of a survey of Bok Globules using ISOPHOT (Lemke, Klaas, & Abolins, et al. 1996), with the aim of identifying the very first stages of star formation. We made one dimensional scans with C100 and C200 pixel arrays, of 20 optically selected dark clouds having no IRAS point source detections. The intent was to look for sub-cloud condensations while measuring colour information from the two filters. Several candidate condensations were identified. There is an intriguing possibility that detailed analyses of the structures will reveal a wealth of information on cloud collapse. Based on observations with ISO, an ESA project with instruments funded by ESA Member States (especially the PI countries: France, Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom) with the participation of ISAS and NASA.
