Abstract: The PSC-z survey selected galaxies from the far infrared IRAS flux down to a threshold of 0.6 Jy. The goal is to provide a uniform sampling of the entire sky. However the published survey does not cover the heavily obscured parts of the sky. The Behind the Plane survey is an extension of PSCz to low Galactic latitudes. The limit is set by confusion and the ability to obtain redshifts for targets; on average |b| ~ 5 is reached giving completion for 92 percent of the sky. An analysis of the dipole obtained with the catalog will be presented.
