| Abstract: |
Updated theoretical instability domains in the H-R and in the log g versus log Teff diagrams are presented and compared with the observational data on the Upper Main Sequence pulsators (b Cephei, SPB and d Scuti variables). The calculations were done with use of the newest data on the opacities and equation of state. Effects of stellar rotation on the structure and oscillations were taken into account. A comparison of unstable mode periods with those determined in various objects is also presented. |
