Asteroseismology of Sun-like stars will probably be done best by means of CCD photometry from space. However, making this happen is going to take hard work and organization. In the meantime, significant progress is being made on spectroscopic studies of F- and G-type subgiants, and important advances are being made in techniques for measuring modes in delta Scuti stars. |
