Abstract: We present here numerical results for the evolution of angular momentum in the Sun, including transport by gravity waves as well as by meridional circulation and shear turbulence which are present in a differentially rotating star. We show that quasi-solid body rotation may be achieved in a timescale shorter than the age of the Sun.
