Abstract: We list and discuss large (10 mag and more) amplitude flares observed on some of the AGNs. The extended optical monitoring of some of the GRB (Gamma Ray Bursts) positions has revealed the presence of large amplitude optical flares (Optical Transients) which have been identified with faint underlying AGNs/QSOs. Recently, optical flare has been found also for the QSO 4C49.29 located inside small error box of GRB960720. We discuss related observational and statistical issues and suggest the strategy for further investigations of these events.
