| Abstract: |
We show the detailed kinematics of metal-poor stars, selected without kinematic bias, using the accurate astrometric data by the Hipparcos satellite. All of the stars in our list have accurate metal abundances determined from high-resolution spectroscopy and/or narrow- to intermediate-band photometry, thereby allowing us to elucidate a clear picture for the early dynamical evolution of the Galaxy in conjunction with the metal-enrichment process. |
