Abstract: This work reports the low- and high-resolution spectroscopic diagnostic diagrams, stellar parameter and abundance analysis of the planetary nebula Hen 3−1312. The cool stellar component has an effective temperature of Teff=6 500±100 K, a surface gravity of log g = 0.8±0.2 and with a metallicity of [Fe/H]=−1.1. These parameters result in an estimated primary luminosity of 4 100 LSolar, implying a distance of 4 400 pc which is in agreement with previous determinations. The mean abundances of carbon, nitrogen and oxygen are found to be solar, however the alpha-elements (Mg, Si and Ca) and barium are underabundant relative to the Sun.
