| Abstract: |
We present scanning Fabry-Perot interferometer observations of the isolated interacting galaxy pair NGC 5426/27 (Arp 271). For each galaxy, the velocity field, the rotation curve and a range of possible masses were derived. A small bar-like structure was found in NGC 5426, as well as a severely distorted velocity field for NGC 5427. |
