Abstract: We provide further support for the idea that interactions are common in early-type(Sa-Sab) spirals and that they may also be responsible for the unexpected presence of giant H II regions in some of these galaxies. Our HI mapping of four high star forming Sa-Sab galaxies has revealed morphological peculiarities in all of them. We suspect that almost all early-type spirals with high massive star formation rates may be going through an interaction.
