Abstract: The asymmetry in the optical image of NGC 1637 is unmistakable in that it possesses a well-defined third arm. This feature is also visible in HI, CO, near infrared, and 2 0cm radio continuum. A VLA HI study yields a number of interesting properties of this galaxy; we describe several of them here.
