Abstract: In a complete sample of 21 nearby Fanaroff & Riley Type I galaxies we detected 11 small (~ 1 '') dust disks, 8 dust lanes, and 12 nuclear optical cores using HST/WFPC2. The radio jets are only roughly aligned with the dust disk symmetry axes. The nuclear optical cores are possibly caused by synchrotron emission at the base of the jet.
