Abstract: We present a numerical N-body model to simulate the neutral gas distribution of a spiral galaxy entering a cluster. As the galaxy falls into the potential well of cluster, the gas clouds are affected by ram pressure due to the hot intra-cluster medium. We studied this effect in the Virgo Cluster with the help of the N-body code together with a dynamical model of the galaxy trajectories within the cluster. We show that the simulations can nicely reproduce the observed HI properties of the Virgo Cluster spiral galaxies. We present the first results of a direct comparison between the model gas distribution and velocity field on the one hand, and observed gas distribution and velocity field on the other.
