Abstract: There remains a fundamental problem with the formation of massive stars via accretion: radiation pressure can reverse infall for M* ≥ 10Msolar. Masers provide a unique and vital means of tracing the kinematics of massive star formation, with the possibility of distinguishing between possible alternate formation mechanisms. This paper reviews recent results from VLBI maser studies of three regions: W3, Cep A, and Orion BN/KL.
