| Abstract: |
The results of First and Second Byurakan surveys is presented. The place and the role of Byurakan surveys among the other AGN surveys is discussed. One of the most complete sample of bright QSOs and Sy galaxies till the magnitude limit B < 17.0-17.5 is obtained. These results are compared with the results of AGN selection from different complete samples of ROSAT, IRAS, NVSS, FIRST, UVX and ELG surveys. The direct estimate of the completeness for each type of above mentioned single survey is obtained. |
