Abstract:	The study of the star formation phenomenon has been historically divided into low mass and high mass objects. In this workshop we took the approach of looking at the problem of star formation across the whole stellar mass spectrum, from the most massive O stars to the brown dwarfs. I present here a summary of the topics discussed during the workshop.
