Abstract: |
Spectroscopy in redshifted radio transitions allows a probe of changes in multiple fundamental constants such as the fine-structure constant α, the proton gyromagnetic ratio gp, and the electron-proton mass ratio μ ≡ me/mp. In this article, I will describe the advantages and disadvantages of such radio techniques relative to optical ones, discuss the best present techniques and results, and, finally, summarize prospects for the future. |
