Abstract: The ESO Science Archive Facility (SAF) is significantly changing its appearance. At a first glance the new ”look and feel” of the web interface is apparent. Even more prominent is the new visual browser VirGO for interactive data discovery. It is fed by a stream of previews and advanced data products and features instrumental footprint overlays. Virtual Observatory standard interfaces allow additional programmatic access to images and spectra as well as inter application exchange and compatibility. A new submission interface allows so-called ESO large programmes and selected projects to upload data products to the archive. A lot of innovation took place under the hood in the past years since the creation of the VO Systems Dept. A dedicated query server as well as a metadata warehouse were set up and populated. The migration of current interfaces and data to the new system will continue for some time but all above mentioned features were already on display at the booth including access to the reduced spectra from two instruments (HARPS, UVES).
