Abstract: We have conducted 3, 4, 7, and 11 μm IRC pointed observations toward 195 star forming regions (SFRs). The purposes of these observations were (1) to determine the Initial Mass Functions (IMFs) of very low-mass objects including brown dwarfs and super-Jupiters, (2) to reveal the spatial distribution of these low-mass objects and various kinds of YSOs from the cloud cores to the peripheries of the clouds, and (3) to study the ubiquity or variety of the IMFs among SFRs as well as in each SFR. We are constructing atlas and point source catalog of these star forming regions. The atlas and catalog will be invaluable for the astronomers studying star formation at other wavelengths. Here we present some efforts that we made for processing the IRC data.
