Abstract: Recent Spitzer spectroscopy has revealed previously-unknown rich mid-infrared features of some of OB supergiants in highly-obscured massive X-ray binaries. These features are most likely associated with the mass losses of OB supergiants and may play an important role in their evolutions to the final supernova explosion and formation of compact objects. An extensive spectroscopic survey of OB supergiants, both in binary and isolated systems, with the AKARI satellite in the mid-IR regime appears to be an ideal tool to probe their mass losses.
