Abstract: It is established that prestellar dense cores are magnetized and that magnetic field, as well as radiative transfer, play a major role in their collapse and fragmentation process. We present original calculations of dense core collapse and fragmentation, that take into account both radiative transfer and magnetic field at small scale. We study the basic properties of the outflows that are produced and compare our new results with those obtained with a simple barotropic law. We conclude that for this highly magnetized case, radiative transfer gives more realistic temperature distribution.
