Abstract: |
This short contribution is a modest attempt to express some of the obvious convergences of projects presented and opinions expressed in the conference. It emphasizes the clear emergence of an international and enthusiastic community working in the field of exoplanets, and the wish of this community to establish strong links in order to fully optimize, worldwide, the resources which are necessary for the formidable discovery path laying ahead. Hence the building up of a Barcelona process appears as a new step, which emerged in the conference and got support from all participants. This process should be made broadly known, since the issue of other Earths and life in the universe concerns so many people on our planet, beyond the scientists themselves. |
