| Abstract: |
We present results from the Magnetic Protostars and Planets project (MaPP), which aims to understand the role of magnetic fields in the formation of stars and planetary systems. Using data from the NARVAL and ESPaDOnS spectropolarimeters and Zeeman Doppler imaging (ZDI), we have produced a number of maps of magnetic fields on T Tauri stars. We explain the techniques used, and discuss what the results obtained so far can tell us about the magnetic dynamos of T Tauri stars. |
