Abstract: |
Sunspots are the most prominent magnetic structures on
the solar surface. The evolution of sunspots is a long-standing question
in the solar magnetism. A study of the decay of sunspots as well as the
formation is necessary to understand the evolutionary history of
sunspots. This paper is a short review on new insights into diffusion
and decay of sunspots obtained from Hinode observations. |
