Abstract: The power-law index of the frequency distribution is crucial for the possibility of coronal heating by nanoflares, and previous observations have revealed that γ1.6–2.6. In this study, we conducted simulations of a coronal loop heated by impulsive heating which obeys to a power-law distribution with an index of 2.0. Synthetic observation with Transition Region And Coronal Explorer (TRACE) was carried out. The derived energy distribution was modified by spatial resolution and temporal cadence.
