Abstract: |
The Galactic Ridge X-ray Emission (GRXE) is an apparently extended emission along the Galactic Plane.
Its origin has been a mystery for a long time.
However, recent study revealed that about 80% of the GRXE is consist of dim X-ray point sources.
It raises a new question, what are the populations of them?
In this study, we identified X-ray point sources constituting the GRXE with near-infrared (NIR) and obtained NIR spectra.
The spectra suggest that almost the sources are late-type stars. |
