Abstract: The nonlinear sum and difference frequencies found in the frequency spectra of pulsating white dwarf stars clearly contain information about the structure of the stars. In the past, we have explored this connection to measure convection parameters in a number of variable DAV white dwarf stars. Here, we present results on a single DAV, G29-38, at different epochs with significantly different pulsation spectra. We seek both to test our convection measuring techniques, and understand and explore what role convection might play in the changing pulsation spectra of this and similar stars.
