| Abstract: |
VizieR, the database which collects thousands of astronomical catalogues and
tables, was recently improved and offers now more interactions with users and
external applications. The new capabilities include essentially a possibility of
searching by content (get tables containing user-defined types of quantities),
an annotation service, a connection to the CDS portal (with dedicated space to
store VizieR results to reuse them), tools to correlate tables of catalogs
(cross-match), and a better integration in the framework of the Virtual
Observatory. |
