Abstract: The Atacama Large Millimeter Array (ALMA) relies on a globally distributed Archive across 4 continents to disseminate scientific data to the community and ensure the safety of the data against disaster. The last year has seen the realisation of this design with data flowing from the Atacama desert in Chile out to the ALMA Regional Centers, via Santiago. Here we give a high level overview of the computers and networks that are in place to support this and of the current data volume and capacity as the observatory prepares for it's first observing cycle.
