| Abstract: |
Among the hot hydrogen-deficient subdwarfs listed as PG1159
stars there are 19 that show non-radial pulsations and are known as GW Vir stars (Quirion 2009). We observed the spectroscopically-discovered
PG1159 star SDSS J0349–0059
with high speed photometry in 2007 and 2009 using the 40-in and 74-in
reflectors at the Sutherland site of the South African Observatory and
find that it is a previously unrecognised GW Vir star. |
