Abstract: We present observations carried out with the IRAM 30m telescope in Sierra Nevada, Spain, of the halo of NGC 6826, a young planetary nebula. We obtain information of the cool Asymptotic Giant Branch stellar mass by means of a comparison with a density profile from a 1.25 M mass-loss history obtained from stellar evolution models paired with a mass loss prescription from dust-driven wind models.
