Abstract: CoRoT is a 27 cm equivalent diameter space telescope in a Low-Earth orbit. We introduce its operations, discoveries and we present our analysis of the transit light curves. We report several improvements in the transit light curve analysis, e.g. improvements in the contamination factor, the sky-projected distance determination and in the limb darkening treatment. Our work also differs from the approach of some of the discovery papers because we used the unbinned data. We also analyzed the colour curves. We found that about half of the CoRoT transiting exoplanet host stars do not follow the expected wavelength - limb darkening relationship. The preliminary results of the analysis are reported here.
