Abstract: |
Sakurai's Object (V4334 Sgr), the final-flash object discovered in
the mid-1990s, underwent rapid cooling during the first decade of
the 21st century, becoming as faint as K ≈ 25. This stage
of evolution has ceased. In 2010, we recovered V4334 Sgr in the
near-infrared at Ks = 16.6. Here we provide near-infrared magnitudes
in 2013 and 2014. By 2014 June, V4334 Sgr had brightened to Ks =
13.8. |
