| Abstract: |
The DECam NEO Survey (Allen, et al.) will characterize the size distribution
of small near Earth objects by combining a large search area with a deep
limiting magnitude. In order to search the roughly 30 Tb of imaging data
for the rare faint objects requires a high performance Moving Object
Detection System (MODS). This paper outlines the MODS
algorithms, implementation, and performance during the first year of the NEO
Survey. |
