Abstract: “γ Cas stars” are perhaps the primary contributors to the total hard X-ray flux from Galactic B stars. We review basic properties of 12 suspected or known members of this class. The sample extends out to 6-7 kpc and is finally sufficient to compare such basic properties as spectral type, rotation rate, binarity/Blue Straggler status, Hα lobe structure EW, Lx, temperature of the dominant X-ray emitting plasma component (kThot), and ranges in Lx and kThot.
