| Abstract: |
We present the results of a spectroscopic study of the Be star μ Centauri. We studied the following lines: Hα, Hβ, Fe II 5317, Si II 6347 and 6371, He I 5875, and 6678 Å. We also have studied line profile variations and measured line strengths for the aforementioned lines. Regarding the line strength, we have found a correlation between Hα and He I 6678 Å with a correlation factor of r=0.8. Also we have performed a search for the periods found by Rivinius in 1998 and found 3 of them in the data for the He I 4713 Å line. |
