Abstract: |
We present new observations of GW Librae obtained between 2012–2016.
GW Librae was the first accreting white dwarf to be discovered with non-radial pulsations,
which were wiped out in 2007 when a dwarf nova outburst heated the surface of
the WD outside the instability strip. In the years that followed, we have seen pulsations
return with periods near 280 and 1200 seconds, but find that their periods and amplitudes
vary on timescales longer than a few hours. Some of these changes are found to
correlate with changes in the mysterious 2/3/4 hour modulation that has been seen both
before and after the outburst. |
