Abstract: A correlation between radial velocity of wind and stellar brightness was found in the classical T Tauri star RY Tau. We prove that the irregular brightness variations are caused by dust in the inner-disk wind at a distance of 0.2 AU from the star. We suggest that magnetospheric mass ejections may disturb the inner dusty wind and change the extinction in the line of sight to the star.
