| Abstract: |
We give a review on the Armenian Archaeoastronomy and Astronomy in Culture, including a short overview of archaeoastronomical matters: rock art, zodiacal constellations, ancient observatories, calendars, records of astronomical events by ancient Armenians, and Armenian Medieval astronomy. The current situation with cultural astronomical studies is presented. A comprehensive list of related literature is compiled. Related Armenian institutions involved in archaeoastronomical and cultural astronomical matters are listed and related meetings held in Armenia are described. |
