The SciGirls Strategies are a set of research-based strategies for engaging middle-school girls in STEM. They are designed to develop confidence and persistence, and to motivate girls towards developing a STEM identity during a crucial time in their academic and personal growth. In this session,you will learn about the latest research on gender equity and culturally responsive education for exciting and engaging ALL girls in STEM, engage in a hands-on activity that illustrates the SciGirls Strategies, and discover online resources that enhance teaching and learning experiences for all kids. |
