Abstract: |
Radio interferometry has always been constrained by the algorithmic complexity of the imaging process. Although these challenges remain, the data volumes of the current and next generation interferometers are forcing a shift in the relationship between the scientist and the radio telescope, and increasing the importance of data centers in radio astronomy. The data volume and the shift to service based data processing requires new algorithms to address concerns of robustness, automation, and scalability. |
