Abstract: |
Pigwidgeon is a database and Python web app designed to streamline
the process of monitoring scientific publications using an
observatories data, by regularly collating potentially matching
publications from the Astronomy Data Service (ADS) and presenting an
easy-to-use interface for classifying these publications. Custom
classification categories can be added to a given search, and
multiple separate searches can be set up in a single instance of the
software. It is currently used by the JCMT/East Asian
Observatory. Pigwidgeon uses SQLalchemy, Flask and the ADS Python
interface. |
