| Abstract: |
At the 2016 ADASS, we discussed the transition from the IAU FITS working group to
the new IAU Data Representations Working Group which will work to develop
standards for new data formats as well as maintain a standard FITS format. We
discussed the current state of proposed FITS extensions and inched forward on
creating a common vocabulary for new, more complex structured data formats to
enable some level of interoperability between them and ease future access
to them. |
