This is a summary of an informal science educator's total solar eclipse experience. We discuss how imperative the Eclipse Megamovie was to our traveling to witness the eclipse, prepare of us for photographing it, and providing materials for outreach education. Then we delve into our experience teaching the mechanics of a solar eclipse to elementary age children. Finally, we discuss our eclipse experience from Casper, WY. We provide many photographs from the day of the eclipse, including those submitted and used in the final Eclipse Megamovie. |
