Abstract: |
La Petite école de l'espace (“Little school of space”) is a series of online events for 3 to 8-year-old children and their families delivered in French. In these 30 minute long live events, astrophysicists recount space-themed stories, play games and answer children's questions about astronomy. Five editions were broadcast between July 2020 and May 2021, and put together, they have accumulated over 40K views as of October 1st 2021. We consider this a notable success in our suite of activities and believe it showcases the strong need for science-related content for children in languages other than English. |
