Abstract: |
Online teaching presents challenges; short summer terms are even more challenging online! Past multi-year summer experience translates well to the current pandemic times with proven adaptable methods for a variety of levels. The ASTR 110 Introductory Astronomy class utilizes the existing online institutional tools to deliver content, organize material and create a virtual environment for student discussion, engagement and peer interaction. This paper uses past summer online instruction experiences as a case study for methods that proved well for student acceptance and content delivery. |
