Abstract: Coding is an essential skill for astronomers and should be integrated into our instruction at university level and below. To integrate coding into my astronomy class for 16-18 year old students I have created interactive Python activities using the Jupyter notebook environment. These activities are free to use and adapt on my GitHub. This paper outlines the need for coding in our instruction, the format of my activities, and options for deploying notebooks to students.
