Abstract: |
Since the pandemic began and institutions across the country transitioned to remote learning modules, the science laboratory classes have been a source of concern for many administrators and faculty members.
Teaching astronomy online poses challenges and new opportunities for engaging students, especially those in a lab format. In person lessons can be replaced with ways to engage remote students in observing, utilizing simulations, and analyzing data. In this panel, we share experiences, teaching tips, and innovative ways for remote students to complete astronomy labs. |
