Abstract: CARACal is a publicly available very flexible radio-interferometric data reduction pipeline. Thanks to containerization it can be run on many platforms. We are introducing distributed computing approaches throughout our pipeline. It also delivers a set of remotely accessible imaging quality metrics. Using CI tools and good communication the pipeline has been created by a small and inhomogeneous developer team, consisting of computer scientists, astronomers, students, and more senior staff.
