Abstract: |
As astronomers we all know how beautiful and fragile our planet is. We also know that in many parts of the world astronomy learning is greatly underrated and its multi-interdisciplinary nature overlooked. The sudden need to improve the digital competence profile of educators and learners to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic brought light to another worrying fact, educators urgently need training and support to adopt innovative ways to work with their learners in the virtual world. During this workshop I intend to present a few ideas on how the Galileo Teacher Training Program and its network partners are interacting with educators and equipping them with powerful tools to facilitate a powerful learning experience to their students. During the workshop participants will have the opportunity to interact with tools that enable and inclusive experience, with means to personalize and differentiate the participant's experience while ensuring everyone actively takes part in the experience. |
